How to install hinges on a Door?
1. Place the Hinges on the right Door Spot
To hold the weight of door hinges need a space between the jamb and door. You can install 2-4 hinges on a door according to your need and the size of the door. If you decide to put extra hinges on a normal size door, it will not help to swing fast or balance the door.
So Place the hinge 5 to 7 inches down from the top of the door. Same as the top place the bottom hinge 5 to 7 inches up from the bottom of the door. Now take the measurement tape and calculate the door height from the middle and paste the 3rd hinge on it.
2. Trace the Hinges at the Door

6. Install the Hinges on the Door
Check the hinges by putting them back into the mortise, after the previous step. Now take a screwdriver or drill and put the screw into the hole and fix it tightly. Therefore, do the same process with jamb hinges and fix them tightly.
After that, hold the door and place it align the jamb, and put both hinges wings together with the help of pin. Place the pin onto the slot tightly. Now close the door and check it is it fits smoothly into the jamb.
